It’s finally done, and I uploaded it all onto Soundcloud. It’s going really slow for me, but maybe you guys will have better luck. So check it out, this is like 5 years in the making. Keys, Dreams & Me.
“Everybody is talking about gun control. Got to control the guns. Fuck, that, I like guns. If you’ve got a gun, you don’t need to work out! Cause, I ain’t working out. I ain’t jogging. No, I think we need some bullet control. I think every bullet should cost five thousand dollars. Five thousand dollars for a bullet. Know why? Cos if a bullet cost five thousand dollars, there’d be no more innocent by-standers. That’d be it. Some guy’d be shot you’d be all ‘Damn, he must’ve done something, he’s got fifty thousand dollars worth of bullets in his ass!’ And people’d think before they shot someone ‘Man I will blow your fucking head off, if I could afford it. I’m gonna get me a second job, start saving up, and you a dead man. You’d better hope I don’t get no bullets on lay-away!’ And even if you get shot you wouldn’t need to go to the emergency room. Whoever shot you’d take their bullet back. ‘I believe you got my property?’”—Chris Rock (via nomnomnomer)
Those cute pictures of couples doing cute couply things. The “dear future boyfriend…” posts. Then girls on tumblr search for the guy, or expect the guy they already have, to do all the right things, say all the right things, be the right guy. Most of these things are…
Truth… well to me it is. Sometimes. Most of the time.
It’s like in one of Katt Williams’ stand up.
"Some of you ladies had a 98% good nigga, and you drop that nigga for 2 mothafuckin percent."
It always feels good to be the only one who knows the words during an artist. I felt those looks when Chip Tha Ripper was performing. I was screaming the words to songs like “Feel Good,” “U.A.F.,” and “Light One Up.” Then he said “One time I was chillin’ with my homies Curren$y and Big Sean” and I yell out “OH FUCK. FAT RAPS!!!!” much to the confusion of everyone else. Yeah I love that feeling. Me and Jose were also throwing up the Slab Up hand sign, which I’m sure no one else in the crowd was doing. I wish he shouted us out though.
Then came Cudders. He was awesome as a performer. By this time I got pushed back from what would be the 3rd row to like 10th. Eventually I just left and sat in the stands to cool off. But man he was good. Chip & CuDi doing “All Talk” was amazing. Too good. “Soundtrack 2 My Life” was amazing to sing along too as well. Oh the memories. He also did a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Joe,” and I think I shed a tear when he performed “Mr. Rager.” It was very good, but I wasn’t down for being in the middle of the crowd.
From now on, I’m going to pick my spots carefully. Only some shows are worth pushing to the front or attempting to get in the front for. This was one of them, but I didn’t make it. VIP at Coachella for sure, and this experience further re-affirmed that. For Rock The Bells, I want lawn seats too haha. But yeah I can’t stop listening to KiD CuDi.
“Based means being yourself. Not being scared of what people think about you. Not being afraid to do what you wanna do. Being positive. When I was younger, based was a negative term that meant like dopehead, or basehead. People used to make fun of me. They was like, ‘You’re based.’ They’d use it…
who are your top 5 male friends and top 5 female friends? Interpret "top" how ever you may please.
For guys it would probably be Jon, Jose, Andres, Angelo & Nate. Kinda obvious and it’s been that way for years.
For girls, idk honestly. I hang out with a lot of the girls I know pretty equal. If I were to pick a top 5, I’m sure the 5 girls no matter what combination would all be like “How am I one of the top 5?!”
